Hi, I’m Hansheng Lee (李翰昇)—a Taiwanese American artist, cook, and cultural storyteller. My work lives at the intersection of memory, heritage, and expression.
嗨,我是李翰昇(Hansheng Lee),一個土生土長的台美人。平常在畫畫、做菜,也會記錄文化和生活的故事。對我來說,創作是關於記憶、傳承,還有怎麼把心裡的東西說出來。
I grew up surrounded by creativity, tradition, and food—the kind that carries stories across generations. Through my art and culinary work, I explore themes of identity, displacement, and belonging. Whether I'm painting, photographing, or preparing a home-cooked dish, I aim to preserve the textures of home and translate them into something you can see, taste, and feel.
我從小在創意、傳統,還有很多好吃的東西中長大。那種味道跟記憶,是可以一代傳一代的。我現在的創作和料理,很多都跟「我是誰」、「我從哪裡來」、「我屬於哪裡」這些問題有關。不管是畫畫、拍照,還是下廚,我想要把家的感覺留下來,讓人看得見、吃得出來,也感覺得到。
Currently based in the U.S., I run several creative projects, including visual art, food-focused storytelling, gardening, and community collaborations through Art Collective International (ACI)—a queer-owned artist partnership committed to sustainability, accessibility, and radical honesty in the arts.
我現在住在美國,也在做一些不同方向的創作,像是視覺藝術、關於食物的故事、種菜,還有跟朋友一起經營的 Art Collective International(ACI)。我們是由酷兒藝術家組成的小團隊,主要希望把永續、平易近人、還有真正的誠實,帶進創作裡。
